Summons and roster expansion
Gems
Use Gems to build options, but stop when you already have enough units to test a balanced team.
Gems, Gold, and Trait Rerolls are not equal. Spend the easy currency to solve current walls and save the rare currency until your roster is proven.

Gold should usually go toward the unit that changes the next failed wave, not the whole bench.
Save rerolls until you know the unit is a keeper. A reroll on a temporary slot is the easiest Early Access mistake.
| Resource | Best early use | Common waste |
|---|---|---|
| Gems | Build enough unit options to test roles. | Chasing one unit before you know team needs. |
| Gold | Upgrade the slot that fixes your wall. | Evenly leveling every unit because it feels tidy. |
| Trait Rerolls | Improve a proven carry or long-term utility unit. | Using rerolls on a unit that will leave the team tomorrow. |
